I'm currently putting together a website for a film production company. Naturally, they want a few sample clips. In spite of my specifying QuickTime-compatible MPEG files, the fools have supplied me with WMV files for Windows Media Player.
My problem is this: the client has e-mailed me the clips; I open 'em up on my Mac and check the clips; they work fine in Media Player; I upload them to the website, click on the link and they don't work! I get a "The specified stream type is not recognised" error.
Is this just a problem with Windows Media PLayer on the Mac, a problem with the uploading process, or do I need to do something with the files or the web server to allow the clips to stream?
Thanks in advance for any help you geniuses can offer.
