The other day, for the first time ever in 3+ years, I had a message when my iMac (old style, 500MHz, slot loading) tried to wake from Sleep.
I got this black box on the screen in different languages that said "You must Restart your computer. Hold down the power button..."
I didn't think much of it since it had never happened before. But now, 2-3 days later, it's happened again.
I rarely reboot... I always just put it to Sleep. Have been doing so for years. I've run 10.0 - upgraded to 10.1 - upgraded to 10.2 than a Fresh Install of 10.3 (and I deleted OS 9 at that time) about 4 months ago.
I've got all the current updates, haven't installed any new or weird software lately.
I'm running MacJanitor and Verify and Repair Permissions now but I do those regularly anyway so I don't know if that'll help.
Any reason why I'm getting this message? Anything else I should be doing?
