Hello there
I ran into a problem that I could basically find next to no information about via Google, so I hope maybe someone here has an idea what the cause might be:
I work on an NFS share at work, and edit files with Smultron on said share. Recently a message keeps popping up stating "A server you used is no longer responding to Filelock-requests" and Smultron crashes. Only when I click disable locks, I can work like nothing happened. This happens with other more sophisticated editors as well, like SubEthaEdit or BBEdit
It's a bit unsettling for me though, as I do not want to fall back to this solution without even knowing what the cause for this is. So, has anybody an idea or expirience what the cause for this error could be? Like I said, I found nothing helpful on Google etc.
