Problems with Administrator password and privileges

Hi,

I am having a huge problem with my mac. First of all When I try to open flash mx it wont open anymore. I cant view flash websites on safari, only on firefox, and when i try to install any software, either flash mx, photoshop or if I try to upgrade Itunes it wont let me. The computer asks me that I need administrator level in order to install the softwares. I am the only one using this computer and I cant work at all!!!!

I tried that and it didnt work. I changed the password, restarted the computer and tried to install a software an nothing.
It keeps saying: The software to be installed requires administrator or higer level acces privileges.
I am the admin on this computer. I dont understand and cant work
Help!!!!

I dont know what to do!!!!!!

There are many other places on this forum that talk about repairing permissions as well, so feel free to do some more research or come back and ask for more information.
 
I have the same problem trying to install Suitcase Fusion.
When I saw the message I immediately repaired permissions.
When I read your response, I followed the link and repaired permissions again.
I have logged in as myself (I have admin rights) and I have logged in as administrator. Out of desparation, I have even logged in as ROOT and still get the same message:

The software to be installed requires Administrator or higher level privileges.

I have repaired permissions, I have verified the disk, I have cleared cache.

Any other ideas?
