I'm having a similar problem to one I've seen elsewhere, that when I try to connect via my Airport Express I get a message "Looking for PPoE host ..." and no connection.
I am using 10.4.2 on an iBook G3.
As far as I know, nothing has changed in my system since this started happening about a week ago, and it is driving me nuts.
At the moment I am connecting directly through my ADSL router, which is an Ericsson 220dp. No problems, all fine.
I have tried all the various resets on the Airport Extreme, but none of them seems to give me a green light. I get either flashing yellow or solid yellow.
I really don't know what else to try. I have no way of testing the Airport Extreme with another laptop -- well, I might be able to -- but it seems pointless as I don't get a green light with it.
Help, please.
