I recently initialized my hard drive and performed a clean install of Jaguar. I had installed it about six months ago but in the past month I was getting lots of strange problems (apps quitting on me, very slow system response times) so after backing things up I erased my hard drive, once via the Special menu from my OS9 install CD and once with TechTool. After reinstalling Jaguar I got a kernel panic on startup. It installs just fine, restarts, and the screen goes from grey to dark grey and a white box pops up informing me I have to shut off my computer.
Any ideas? I don't think it's bad RAM, because I had a similar problem before and switched out my RAM chips with no positive results. Thanks!
