but I have come to the conclusion it isn't the epson 10000xl scanner, it's the software.
Basically I am unable to save my scans in preview after rotating them. They go all grey. I can open them fine if I rename them or move them around, but as soon as I rotate, they are kaput.
And this issue happens even if I "save as" into another folder.
What I am doing is the following:
Scanning using epson 10000xl in greyscale at 600dpi with medium dust removal using image capture.
Saving the scan to a folder as 'scan'.
opening the scanned image and saving as 'pic1' on another folder.
opening pic1 in preview (5.0.3) and rotating it and saving it.
Turning air blue when it saves as a grey mass.
makes no difference if it's 'saved' or 'saved as'
