program to read pc cd

my imac g4 0sx 10.3.5 wont recognize a cd when i put it it the cd is full of photo's.When i put other cds in it recognizes them just fine.The cd it wont recognize was burned on a pc. Is there any program i can get so it will recognize the cd?
I know i posted before but had a new idea and question all apologies.
Any info would be great thanks so much.
 
Hrm. If no CD icon appears on the desktop, I'd say you either have your Finder set to not show CDs on the desktop, or the disc didn't burn properly, because your Mac should be able to read PC CDs just fine. If you try it in another computer, does it work? Some CDs just burn weird, compared to others, and it might work in one drive, but not another.
 
Also, make sure that the CD burned on the Windows computer was "closed" or "finalized" when it was burned on the PC. PCs allow you to leave a CD-R "open," so that you can write more data to it later but still be able to read what you've already written.

Macs don't like these kinds of disks very much... if at all possible, get back to the PC that burned the CD and look around for a "finalize" or "close" procedure for the CD-R.
