When exams are over I'm planning on working on an Aqua configuration interface for PureFTPd on Mac OS X.
I know there's a KDE control module that could work in concert with X11, but I'd kind of like something Aqua-native.
Here's what's planned:
- Functionality (to begin with) only with xinetd-based servers.
- Checkboxes/radio buttons on a few tabbed views representing the server argument flags and values.
- Application (eventually, if it works, moving it over to a preference pane).
Essentially it's just going to rebuild a new /etc/xinetd.d/ftp file every time and move it over the old one, with the option to save a backup.
I'm also planning a PHP version, but it'll essentially be the same as the Aqua one, with one big secured form.
