Quake Arena console?

I'm running Quake 3 Arena 1.30b1 in Mac OS X.1 and I can't get the console down, I've tryed all the buttons on my keyboard and still no console.

Does anyone know what is wrong?

Having same problem! Do you use other keyboard then American-English? If yes try it with Americ. Engl.

I had the same problem.

Solution:
go to /Library/Application Support/Quake3/baseq3 in your home

there's a file named q3config.cfg
edit it and change the key binded for toggleconsole.
There may be more then one command bind ~ "toggleconsole" in the config: it's an error of Q3, delete them except for one.
I use k. Save and run Q3A.
That's all.

Ah, another thing:

if you use some mods, you have to change the config also in
/Library/Application Support/Quake3/MOD_NAME in
your home.
