Quark 6 will no longer launch

I am using system 10.3.9. My Quark crashed and will not launch. I have reinstalled Quark from scratch and updated to 6.1 -same error.
Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000000


I have ran and re ran disk utility permissions. What next I'm on deadline.

I have reinstalled Quark from scratch and updated to 6.1

Is there a reason you aren't upgrading to 6.5? As I recall the 6.5 upgrade is a free download from Quark.

Also have you attempted to run QuarkXPress from another user account? That would help in figuring out if the problem is specific to your account or is more wide spread.
