Quark Xpress 6 quiting

I am having trouble opening a particular file in Quark Xpress 6 Passport. The MAC OS is 10.4. I have no problem in opening up other quark files. It tries to open the file, and on some occasions will show a preview image, but then it 'unexpectedly quits'. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

sounds like it's a corrupt file. try renaming the file and then dragging it into the app. is it also a QXP 6 file?
