Question about a print server and OS 10.1.x/9.x.x

Hi,

I'm thinking about getting a HP print server for my HP 995c printer. And my question is does it really matter which I get? And will I be able to set it up with 10.1.x/9.x.x and use it with 10.1.x/9.x.x?

All I can say is that Jet-Direct 170X doesn't work with Mac's at all.
