Question for those who live near Seattle

I'm going to Seattle next week and I have a question for anyone who lives in the area. I would like to see the Pacific Ocean and was wondering what the best beach is to go to (not for sunbathing but scenery). Is it better in the Neah Bay or Forks area?

Also, how far away is Vancouver from Victoria?

I live in vancouver but know the area in washington. You probably don't want to go to Neah Bay, very rural and some sketchy native bands that dont always like tourists. However, there is a nice break there if you surf. Westport is probably the easiest to get to and has nice beaches and excellent surfing as well and big beaches. the inside coast and all the little islands are probably more scenic. I am little biased but the west coast of Vancouver island is way nicer. If you get a chance head up to Tofino/LongBeach for some amazing beaches and coastlines. great fishing and whale watching as well.

Vancouver is a 2.5 hour drive from seattle but victoria is a long way around. you have to take a 2 hour ferry from Victoria to vancouver and a half hour drive on either end. While you are at it you must go to Whistler...unreal... it is a 1.5hour drive from vancouver and one of the best for scenery.
