I recently purchased a Logitech Coordless Elite Duo mouse and keyboard so I could be lazy and sit back in my chair and still be able to type and mouse around from a couple feet away from my computer. It actually works and I'm typing on the keyboard to post this. However, the software that comes with it so you can take advantage of all the extra keys on the keyboard does not work. It installs a little control pane in the system preferences and when I click on it, it says "No Logitech devices found" even though the keyboard and mouse are connected and working. I was wondering if anyone has encountered this and how I could go about getting the keyboard to totally work on my computer. Thanks!

I know this sounds a little silly...

But I had the same problem - it was fixed when disconnected and reconnected the mouse and keyboard (I was trying out the USB wired versions).

If that doesn't work, try rebooting (if you haven't already).

I tried that and it didn't work.....I also removed the batteries and everything. I went to their website after posting my problem and found drivers for the keyboard and decided to download them. They were created on November 20th which is newer than the June/July installers on the CD that came with it. I uninstalled the CD version and installed the version I downloaded and restarted and the control pane recognized the peripherals. I was amazed. I was able to configure ALL the keys. I didn't like that the F keys on the standard Apple keyboard couldn't be used, at least as far as I knew. Well this allows me to control iTunes from a keyboard which is a little easier than shuffling through a screen. It also has a ton of shortcuts available to open the hard drive, music folder, pictures, webcam (if you have one, which I don't), e-mail, web browser, instant messaging program....and it even has a scroll wheel on the keyboard if your so you don't need to grab the mouse to scroll down when your typing a big forum reply that goes below the window, or browsing PDF files, or whatever you might do. And best of all I was able to control iTunes from the couch downstairs, which means I had full control of the computer even though there was a floor/ceiling/desk between me and the screen. I personally thought it was amazing. So if anyone does experience the problem I had, try drivers off their website. I'm running OS X 10.2.3 and for some reason the CDs drivers didn't want to work right.
