Quicktime 6.1 is out!

You could have a satellite link. Uplink is still the slow phone line, but the downlink is a fast satellite connection.
 
Over here a satelite costs 1300 GBP to install and 150 GBP per month.

Cheaper installations require me to buy a MicroSoft machine. Not acceptable.
