Quicktime codec in OS X Client

Does anyone know the specs on Quicktime for OS X Client beta? It doesn't look like it supports MPEG movies. Any ideas?

I dont know what QT version OSX uses, but I guess it's definitly not the final version. QT5 is just around the corner and will be available before OSX Final. Apple would be quite stupid spending a lot of time implementing QT4.5 when they exactly know that this version wont be included in the final product.
