Actually, I don't see what the big deal is. Slashdot double posts several times a month. It's not like this site is spilling over with new discussions daily. I really don't think this post is wasting space and prohibiting the "good" posts from being seen. :p

The little doodad in the middle of that countdown thingy (God, could I get more specific? :p) replaces the double chasing arrows in 10.2.
