Hi, and thank you in advance to my question. I posted this on the Apple forum but have not yet got a reply, this site seems more helpful anyway.
I installed Logic Studio a while ago. I know that it updated my Quicktime with a Pro version. I was on quicktime and saw that "Registered To" was something like Apple User or similar, so I changed it to my name. It seemed to kill the Pro registration. Is there a way to reset it? I know that no keys came with my Logic Bundle to insert into the serial area. I assume Quicktime uses an algorithm that calculates the characters in the Registration name to generate a matching key, and that broke it?
I just don't want to have to dig through ALL those discs again, which are now buried with all my AU plugin CDs for Logic, God knows where, since I've been moving stuff around. But it seems I may have to?
Thanks,
Greg
