Satellite radio's new gadgets?
Bundling with iPod, road maps and pause features are among items in the pipeline.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - After grabbing the spotlight by signing shock jock Howard Stern and launching a palm-sized portable device, hopes are high for satellite radio companies, which are expected to show off navigational, video and recording capabilities next month.

Well, that article says a lot!
Armed with this information, would it not be feasible for Apple to bring satellite radio to the iPod via an addon accessory?
Or better yet, how about a NEW Radio iPod that comes with an AM/FM receiver and a satellite radio receiver built-in. I think that Apple should make one Radio iPod model with photo capability and one without. Such a device would definitely be a little larger than it's cousins, but at least you could listen to radio with it.
You would definitely need a paid subscription to a satellite radio service to use the satellite radio; perhaps Apple could sell this along with the Radio iPod as an option and make some extra money off of commisions this way.
