ram question. am i getting ripped?

just ordered some pc100 ram by mistake, i needed pc133. i emaild the store and told them about my mistake, but they had already shipped out the ram. this is what he told me in my response.

I'm under the impression that putting the slower PC100 chips in will work, but will slow everything down.

Do a find on this Mac Central page for DIMMCheck. It has some quotes that seem to explain the details fairly well...
