I'm using the latest version of OS X and the latest version of Safari. Over the last couple of days, I've started getting bizarre sites showing up. For example, when I try to get to my.yahoo.com, I wind up at a site for the Alentus Corporation. The browser still says it's pointed at http://my.yahoo.com, but that's not what I'm getting. Another time I clicked on a link in an e-mail from a PTA and wound up at a soft porn site. Neither of these things happens every time even at those URLs. I assume I've downloaded some sort of virus or something that re-directs the browser, but how do I fix it. I've got Virex, but it hasn't done any good.
Also, Internet Explorer has simply ceased to work. I can't figure out why, and downloading a new copy didn't help. I don't know if it could be related.
