re install language, after i have erase it by mistake

HI everybody, i have , by not paying attention enough, erased a main language package for german with MONOLINGUAL, stupid me.
how can i get it back on my system.

I have tried with the SNOW LEOPARD DVD. It did install the german language but still doesn't work with MAIL or PAGE

any help......or suggestions

You can use a Utility called Pacifist to extract just the language pack off your installation DVDs.

Thanks for the tip, but i think that all the strings are gone as well. i will reinstall the system.

You could also install Mac OS X 10.6.2 update on that - if it's not installed already. Or try installing the combo update on top of the existing update again; even when a system doesn't have all the localizations installed or they have been removed, usually the system updates 'helpfully' reinstall all those updated languages back. (including all those you didn't have installed or removed)
