Its the same thing that could happen if you turn your computer off. You can tell OS X to use a specific IP address, but your ISP probably won't like that. FaRuvius

A) if it's static, bitch at your ISP B) if not, it's gone. Think of using a DNS service, I use dyndns.org...good so far.
