NOW, can we finally get some players for real media that work with our browsers in os x? Given that many sites don't bother with quicktime videos but will present real as an alternative to windows media, is there any chance anybody is finally going to get it so it works without having to have real's own player?

RealNetworks distributes a free RealOne Player for Mac OS X, including a browser plug-in. The link is at the top right of the real.com web site. What more is it you want?

Real has never worked for me. In fact Safari is the first browser which has actually been able to show Real Media for me...

I have a question concerning the Real media format: Is there any application that's capable of converting Real video files into other video formats (mpeg, DivX...)? I have investigated on that matter a while ago and reached the conclusion that Real is very protective of their media formats and doesn't want anyone to export them to other formats. Please tell me it isn't so!
