really erase yahoo messenger

I tried Yahoo Messenger once maybe five or six months ago, and then I uninstalled it. I installed it again last week and Messenger forces me to use the name I signed up with five months ago! Where does yahoo messenger store this information on my mac so I can erase it? I tried everything I could think of. Is there some program that hunts this junk down and deletes it? On windows there are all kinds of programs to uninstall and erase unused junk.

Your Home Folder > Library > Preferences > com.yahoo.Messenger.Users.username.plist

There's also files named com.yahoo.Messenger.plist and Yahoo! Messenger.plist
