Recommend a cheap backup drive?

Can someone recommend a good cheap reliable quiet 100+ GB backup external firewire 400 drive? Does not have to be fast just cheap and reliable. Thanks.

LaCie's drives are always good and reliable (with the exception of their "Porche" line -- those drives are crap). Check out the first drive listed on this page:

I vote for owc. I have bought from them several times and everything they do and sell is tip top.

lol! What i meant was *is that an acceptable waranty*?
Shouldn't i expect it to last longer than one year under normal use, and therefore be guaranteed for longer than one year?

I was basically seeking input on the subject, as i have no experience in this area.

owc is a respected company and never sells bad stuff. also remember that its a value line of drives. their higher end drives have a 2 year.
