Recording with an XLR mic +48v

Hiya,

This may not be the most appropriate question ever posed, but I'll ask it anyway on the off chance. I'd like to do some recording on my Mac with an XLR studio microphone which requires phantom power. Do Apple have any hardware to facilitate this kind of thing? If not, what other hardware might I want to look for?

Any suggestions much appreciated!
 
Here's another option - only $50 - in case you can't afford the tascam. i use it for phantom power and to boost the signal going into the mic input on my powerbook. it also comes in handy for boosting the signal going from the pb back to the amp, as well as other guitar/vocal mixing chores.
