Reinstall 10.1

I try to reinstall 10.1 over 10.1 and i cant, when i have to choose the location to install 10.1 i try to select my hard drive but is greyed out and i cant install it.
Some help or ideas?

You're not supposed to reinstall if you've installed the security update. Apple suggests backing up your files and wiping the drive for a clean install.

I think you just have to back up your files and wipe the drive. Then reinstall.
