Guess MS is getting ready for 10.2 PPTP support which would allow me to VPN into my network at work and manage stuff natively on my Mac without having to go through VPC 5.x.

Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac allows you to connect to a Windows-based computer and work with programs and files on that computer from your Macintosh computer. This means, for example, that if you use a Windows-based computer at work and a Macintosh computer at home, you can connect to your computer at work from home and have access to all of your programs, files, and network resources as though you were in front of your computer at work. You can leave programs running at work and when you get home, you can see your desktop at work displayed on your home computer, with the same programs running.
To continue with the example, when you connect to your Windows-based computer at work, Remote Desktop Connection automatically locks that computer so that no one else can access your applications and files while you are gone. When you come back to your computer at work, you can unlock it by typing CTRL+ALT+DEL and entering your password. Your data and connections are protected.

* Share resourcesÊÊ If you are connecting to a Windows-based server, multiple users can maintain separate program and configuration sessions on the server, and connect to the server at the same time.
