I attempted to install OSX on my iBook which is running OS 9.2.2 and it failed one CD in. I don't want to restart, continue or in any way try to get OSX on there any more. I also absolutely cannot blank the drive and reinstall OS 9. I want to remove all the files and folders which are related to OSX WITHOUT damaging OS 9.
Does anyone have a list of all the folders and files I would see at the root of the hard drive for an OS 9 install? If so, could you post their names? I will then simply erase any of the files I see at the root of the drive which are not on this list. Hopefully that will remove the partial OSX install.
