Remove/Uninstall wu-ftpd from 10.3

I run Mac OS X 10.3 on my PowerMac G5.
I recently installed pure-ftpd ftp server on my system. I know by default the system had wu-ftpd shipped with the mac os.

I would like to completely remove/uninstall the wu-ftpd from my system because it's interfering with my ftp server a little. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

How did you initially install wu-ftpd? Did you use Fink? Did you compile it yourself? Please elaborate.
