Removing menus

I played around a bit and double-clicked a few .menu-files like Battery.menu. Now I get status on batteries on the tol left of my screen. If you look at my sig you'll realize why I want this gone again...how do I remove it?

You should be able to command-drag the menus out of the menubar and they should poof. If not, you may want to try restarting and trying again.

You can also turn it off in the Energy Saver Prefs in System Preferences

No, that's just it, that option is locked down to me as I don't have a battery
