G'day,
I bought a Macpower 200gig M9dx to provide more space for my old imac DV G3 500mhz as its 20 gig hard drive is almost out of room.
Would it be a good idea to clone the imac with something like SuperDuper and cloning it onto this firewire drive and boot OS X from it? I've never tried anything like this before and wanted to know if this would be a stupid thing I would regret trying.
If it is a good idea would I render the 20 gig hard drive on the imac useless?
Many thanks for you experience,
Sisko
Imac DV G3 500mhz, 10.4.6, 576mb RAM (powermac 2.2)
