Republic question

I was thinking about getting Republic: The Revolution for my dual 1.8 GHz G5, with a 128MB graphics card. This is above the minimum specs, but I'd heard some rumours that it runs really badly on computers above the recommended specs. Can anyone clear this up for me?

The Republic is a poor port. The game ran very slow on my Mac, and at the time, I had one of the most powerful macs available; still do. But, I played it for about 5 hours, and I haven't touched it since...

Spend you money on something else. Try Sim City 4 + Expansion pack. Runs a dream...
