Please help!!
I installed Norton Utilities and Anti Virus on OS 9, ran disc doctor, all went fine until i booted up in OSX.
Instead of booting up in my user profile automatically it booted up fresh with all the set up information to be filled in. I tried to cancel, but couldnt, so i thought i would just create a new user, set the same password as my own user account and could then get back to my old one via User.
Of course, in User i couldnt activate my profile even though it was set as administrator unless i put the password for the new account in.
I typed what I set as the new account password and found that it would NOT accept it, infact it turns out it is one digit short of what i set, like it set its own password....
what the!!!!
Now not only can I not activate my User account, I cant get access to certain parts of the system as I am not the administrator, nor can I find any of my documents on my harddrive (though installed programs are still there?)
