Resetting icons back to original

Greetings,

I recently got an external WD drive. It did something I didn't like a great deal. It changed my older WD hard drive AND the new one to an icon apparently designed by WD. I want to go back to my standard Mac's icon but seem unable to. A few pages I researched mentioned one key combination but apparently that was outdated and doesn't work on Snow Leopard.

Any ideas?

What did your sources recommend? You should be able to Get Info on the volume, click on the icon, and press delete to revert to the default icon.
