Resetting iTunes?

Hi, I just installed iTunes 2 and let it (iTunes) search my harddrives for mp3s. I forgot to unplug my firewire harddrive which has all my mp3s backed up on it, so now iTunes shows every song twice, once for the songs on my real harddrive and once for the songs on the firewire.

I deleted the iTunes library file but that didn't do anything, is there a way to really reset iTunes so it erases the current Library and will search my harddrive for mp3s again?

The only way I know of, is to delete ALL the songs in iTunes by selecting one then going to Edit > Select All... and hit the delete key. Then hopefully all of your mp3 files are in one folder, like your music folder. Drag the folder and drop it into the iTunes window and all the songs in the folder will get added.

Hope that does what you need.
