resetting trial version of indesign

iAussie
I have picked up a previous employees computer to use as my own, but they must have run the indesign trial before. I dont want to crack or disable the trial i just want to have my thirty days.
ideas??

You don't get thirty days, the person that originally installed got that trial thirty days. If the thirty day period is up, then you have to buy it.

i would suggest writing adobe about it. they may have a workable solution for such cases. personally i think each new version of an app should warrent a new trial. sometimes the reason i didn't buy something is because something about it sucked. sometimes these things get fixed. small developers are ussually really cool about this. of course the one obvious way to get your own 3o days would be to completely reformat and reinstall your system and all your software from scratch. i'm guessing that's more work than you want to put into this or you would have just done that when you got the used computer to start with.

Yeah you are right not really worth the clean install, but oh well

You might want to anyway, it will just let you know that any problems you may encounter are yours and not the other guys :)
