Resizing a finder window that has the draggable corner offscreen?

Well, I'm not sure how I got myself into this, but if I double-click on my Mac HD icon, a finder window that is too big opens up. By "too big" I mean that the bottom edge of the window runs all the way below the bottom of the screen. I've clicked on the top title bar & pulled it up as far as I can, but I still can't see any part of the bottom of the window. I went to a folder with a large number of files in it, and they scroll right on off below the screen.

Now, if this were a nice Gnome window, I would be able to drag it up higher with another mouse button & shrink it. I'm hoping that OSX has something similiar built in. I'm on 10.2, on an iBook, if it makes any difference. Any suggestions?

Try clicking the green maximize button at the top of the window. It should resize the window to be within the limits of your monitor resolution.
