Restore addresses in address book

There's help files on backing up addresses, but I can't find anything to restore addresses. I deleted a LOGIN and all the information was saved in a deleted folder. Great. I just remembered I had set up a specific folder in the address book and would like to retrieve those addresses. I the deleted folder from that LOGIN are folders such as: Library/Application Support/Addressbook/Addressbook.data, XXXX.data.previous, Lastimport.plist.
I don't want to overwrite my other addressbook. I just want to get about fifteen names from this old LOGIN user. Any way to do this? I tried import (all three) and no text, delimited, vcards, etc. was the answer.

I tried to figure out how to delete this. I think it would be better in the systems forum rather than the "how to."

Good catch. I moved it to software now..

Do you have a backup of your AddressBook data?

No. Not on this specific "log in" Just what shows up as addressbook.data
