Retrieving OS X user password from OS 9?

Is there a way to retrieve a password for an OS X user from within OS 9? Or is there a way to remove all OS X users from OS 9, forcing OS X to recreate all users at restart?

Unfortunately there is no way to extract the password. you can download a program that will brute force crack the pass but that could take up to a month to do. If you're wanting to do this because you forgot all your passwords you can do one of two things. Use the password reset utility on the Install CD or boot into single user mode by holding command S and reset the password from there.
 
Yup... good advice from Rhino_G3. Just start up from the Install CD and go to File menu > Reset password (or something like that). Then you can log in with your new password.
