I have an osx got it about three years ago, it was working perfectly until this past saturday and things started going screwy.
i can login as usual and the return key works in the login page, but once desktop loads it stops working. i can still use touchpad and i can move the cursor around and it never freezes and even some of drop down menu options work, but only half a side at a time.
for instance if the left hand toolbar options are working (finder, file, view, etc) then the right hand side (airport, bluetooth, search, volume, etc) don't and vice versa.
the only things different that i noticed before things got weird was that i was surfing redbox dot com and when i put my cursor over the movie descriptions a window opened up and when that happened my dock which i normally keep hidden would flicker as though it was trying to open but couldnt.
after redbox thats when i noticed the change.
any advise?
