Hi all,
I'm using Leopard on my PowerBook G4. I have used Ruby before but I wanted to try out Ruby on Rails. Long story short, I accidentally deleted the gem and rails directories. I tried to reinstall ruby gems with MacPorts but the install failed. Then I followed a suggestion to remove Ruby before installing ruby gems first, and now MacPorts fails to reinstall Ruby itself.
One mistake I made managed to turn into this mess! I'm wondering if there is any way to fix this without having to reinstall Leopard, I already tried reinstalling the developer tools in a last ditch effort.
Any help would be much appreciated!!
