Running OS 9 on Tiger

I am trying to install MAC OS 9.2 to be able to run Classic on my iMac G5. On Mac Help it suggests that When opening Classic in Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, if the "Welcome to Mac OS 9" screen appears but Classic never finishes loading (the extension icons don't appear), make sure the installed version of Mac OS 9 is 9.2.2

I downloaded Mac OS 9.2.1 but each time I try to double click the 'Install' Icon, it tries to open Classic and I am back to square one. I desparately need Classic to open some Corel Wordperfect files for a class assignment.

Please help. It is very very urgent.

You can get Classic from the System Restore disk that shipped with your computer. If Corel WordPerfect is all you need, then you should simply download and install AbiWord. It reads WordPerfect documents virtually flawlessly. However, it does not save documents in this format. WordPerfect handles .rtf. Submit your documents in .rtf and you are golden.
