Is there any way to run a dedicated quake 3 arena server from the console in OSX?
I want to run two copies of Q3A, one as a server and one as my client. I can do this fine if I duplicate the application, but it really messes up aqua. When I start a dedicated server from within Q3A, the mouse stops working and the only way I can launch my client copy of Q3A is navigation with the keyboard. Then when I want to quit the server copy, I have to log out and log back in. I can't seem to find a way to quit it otherwise.
This is a real pain in the neck as you can imagine, which is why I'm trying to find a way to run the server in the terminal [or some other way].
