-RW impossible on DVR-105?

I already tried everything, but DVD-RW 1x/2x can only be written ONCE  After that, I can erase it in both Finder an Toast 6.0.7, but neither can write to it anymore.

Finder just gives an error
Toast says:
Sense Key = BLANK CHECK
Sense Code =0x00
NO ADDITIONAL SENSE INFORMATION
DiskBlaze says:
The device drained its buffer withou burn underrun protection.
(even though buffer underrun is ON  )

And that's it. This is already the 3rd DVD-RW which shows the same problem. The current DVD-RW is a 1x-2x speed Memorex-RW.
:( :( :(

What speed are you trying to burn the DVD-RW at? It may be that you must write to an already-written DVD-RW at a lower speed than you originally did when there was nothing on the disk, simply because now for every write operation to the disk, the drive must also perform an erase operation.

Also, from what I hear, Memorex doesn't make very good DVD-R/RWs. I have a batch of 8x Memorex DVD-R disks, and they'll only burn at 4x -- 8x isn't even listed when I burn. I've also gotten two visibly defective disks in a spindle of 50 (one disk looked like it had been "burned" with a cigarette -- the top opaque layer was missing in a small area, exposing the data layer underneath). You might want to give another brand a try as well -- I hear Verbatim media is pretty damn good.

The DVR-105 only supports one burning speed: 1x, and tht's the speed i was burning on and trying to burn again....

Hmm... this page suggests otherwise:

It says you can burn DVD-R media at 4x, and DVD-RW at 2x... at any rate, I would suggest trying some different media first and foremost. If that doesn't solve it, maybe there's something along the way that you're doing that's making the disk un-rewritable, although I'm sure you've checked and double-checked and are doing it correctly.

I'll poke around and see if I can't find anything about that drive and your situation...
