Hi Guys,
I have downloaded and used Broadband Optimizer 1.5 and have done the check via Terminal to see the settings for send and receive at 65536. However, when I use the "Broadband Analyzer" via www.speedguide.net it is showing a RWIN of 66608.
I rechecked the numbers in Terminal by typing:
sudo sysctl -w net.inet.tcp.sendspace=(whatever test #)
and it shows the values from changing at 65536 to whatever test value I use, but still the "Broadband Analyzer is 66608.
FYI, I know the preferred number is in fact 65536, but just experimenting, as i have heard that 256560 might prove to be better in some cases.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
