This seems to have been done fairly quietly and with no real fuss made about it, but has anyone else noticed that the new S-ATA drives in the Mac Pro are of the 3GB/s variety? I'm assuming the drives themselves are pretty much the same and it's just the interface that has been upgraded, so probably no real performance gain, but could be interesting for future developments.
Also, makes me think that maybe the X-Serve RAID will be seing an upgrade soon as it's still using the "old" S-ATA drives.
