Safari and Firefox strange google requester...

Hi,

Recently when going to SOME web sites (using either Safari or Firefox). the web site I'm looking at is accessed for a few seconds...and then it seems to re-direct with a blank page showing, "waiting for google-analytics.com".
When I click left arrow to go back. The web page is there for a second and just brings up the same blank page again. On the left tab , the grey wheel is spinning...but nothing happens. This has happened a few times recently with different web sites. My friend sent me this and he can read it on his Mac.
If you look at the pic attached this is what it looks like. Anyone have similar problems or know what causes this? Thanks

You can block that domain. It is merely a snoop trying to gather information about users of websites anyway, and page access speeds up if you block it. I used Adblock Plus with Firefox and Safari Block on Safari to block it.
